There is one that we looked at that was really good - I think it is watchdog.com or familywatchdog.com. If you punch "sex offender list" into Google, it was one of the first few options.

I wish I had thought of this before I bought my home. A friend of mine was in contract and broke it because she found out there was a sex offender across the street. Luckly, there aren't any in our area, but I didn't even think to look.
