Job interview question...

How long do you think should you hear back from someone about another interview?

I went on an interview Monday, and they wanted me to interview with another person but they weren't going to be back from vacation until this past Wednesday. They went to Europe for a few weeks. They were suppose to be in touch with me about interviewing with the Program Director, and I still have yet to hear from them? Chat Icon I'm really upset about this because from what the one guy told me it went well, and from the Human Resource person said they wanted me to interview with the head person, that they really liked me and was really interested in me? I should of heard back from them already for another interview? I did the wrong thing and got my hopes up for this position. I want out of my current position soooo bad! I told myself not to because when I do, it never works out. Anyway, thanks for listening!

Re: Job interview question...

i wouldnt worry and just try to be patient. i know here in the summer, the hiring process takes forever bc various ppl are on vacation. one word of advice: dont call them, let them call you. when ppl do that to me, it turns me off and makes me think they are impatient. good luck!

I just thought that if you wait about a week and then call to follow up that it would look good? That is shows you're really interested? No? Thanks!
