Bridal Shower invitation wording

Myself (along with the rest of the bridesmaids) will be hosting our friend's bridal shower. We are doing it in one of the BM's mother's house. (who is also the bride's aunt). How do we word who is hosting it? Do we word it as, hosted by the bridesmaids? The MOH has not been planning it, I have and also the MOB has not offered to contribute. She alluded to it but then never said anything again. Please help! TIA

If it's not a lot of people, then I would just put all of your first names, such as:

hosted by,
Jennifer, Ellen, Mary and Sue

OR

Just put

hosted by the bridal party.

On mine, my sister just put her name and my cousin's name since they were the only two who contributed to it (besides my mom). On hers, I put the bridal party, stupidly, even though they did nothign to help me.

OK Good.....I guess I can put hosted by with our first names there are only 5 of us. Or the bridesmaids. But the only problem is I am not sure if her mom is contributing or not. She mentioned it but then never said anything again.
But we are the ones planning it all. Does that make a difference?
I just dont want to offend anyone

Re: Bridal Shower invitation wording

If you are the ones planning it, then put your names. You can say "Given By" instead of "Hosted By" since you said it's at someone's house, right? I would leave the mom off of the invitation OR, ask her. Just say, "I know you were considering contributing for the shower, would you like your name to be included on the invitation?"
