Promise not to keep bugging everyone**UPDATE**Decided what I am doing
Sunday is our first anniversary and we just bought a home. So I talked to DH this morning and he reminded me, no gifts- we don't have the money.
But its still our first wedding anniversary and I want to do something special for him. For our first dating anniversary, I wrote down the 100 reasons why I loved him on his favorite color paper and had it laminated. He loved that. So something along those lines.
TIA- I have been racking my brain.
Thanks for all the suggestions- based on all your great ideas, I am going to do a scrapbook called The Story of Us. I even found emails I saved from when we first met on Match.com and will drive to the restaurant we first met and take a pic. I got so inspired by you all!
Plus DH cannot get mad about me spending money- I even have a scrapbook I was saving to use. Since we only have known each other a short time, it won't be that long and hard to do by Sat.

Maybe-
* burn a CD of songs that remind you of him, or some songs from when you were dating...
*Start a scrapbook of your life together. Start with your baby pics, then you both dating, your wedding, new house. LEave blank pages for your future!
*Make him a coupon book. Include "meal of your choice for dinner", "massage", "get out of mowing the lawn day", etc. Can get kinky too!
*Or just wrap yourself in Saran, light some candles, and wait for him to get home. He'll probably like that one the best.

You guys are great- these are awesome-
Photos are out- everything is still in boxes or stuck in my camera- I haven't even downloaded pics from my camera from our honeymoon! GULP!
I think I might add on to his top 100 reasons- he loved that gift so much and do the top 25 why I love being married.

Christine, if you didn't remove your profile from Match, it might still be on there - you could print both of them out and add that to the scrapbook too!

I'm just finishing up the scrapbook from the trip to San Fran before we got engaged I either need to hire Ang or take a year off from work to catch up.

I have some suggestions for the top 25 reasons...
1. He takes the garbage out.
2. He is the in-ground sprinkler engineer of the family.

I thought of this- but I think they remove it after a year. I know I printed them out since my sis was going to use them at the shower- now I just have to find them!

It certainly isn't looking anything like Ang's and I only am going to start it since it is a story to keep going. I can add to it later and make it look better. He will be so excited about the idea that it won't have to be picture perfect.
I get out of work in about 10 minutes and he doesn't come home until tomorrow so I have some time.
Wish me luck! I have no artistic talent.
