Baby Shower Question
I am planning a baby shower and I am a little clueless. At a bridal shower they have a wishing well, do they have something like this for a baby shower?
maybe a wishing stork? or basket? I like the book idea.
Also do you get an umbrella or a big chair?
TIA for your help

Re: Baby Shower Question
At the baby shower I had on saturday I did not have a wishing well.
When I went to one last year, the wishing well was a laundry basket that was nicely decorated as a hot air balloon.
I know that the shower I am having this Saturday coming up, will have a "pool" wishing well. And the theme is summer.

Re: Baby Shower Question
my family buys like a wooden toy box and decorates it with the theme of the room and uses that - its actually a really cute idea b/c it good for storage!!

Re: Baby Shower Question
My shower this past weekend didn't have a wishing well. I realy like the book idea too....wish I had known about it earlier!
I actually told my family NOT to waste money getting the big wicker chair. They had it for my bridal shower....it really is the most uncomfortable chair. I couldn't imagine fitting in it now with this belly either

Re: Baby Shower Question
i don't think you have to have the big chair. you can choose to do a wishing well if you wish, or the book thing- then there is the clothes line too.

Re: Baby Shower Question
I haven't seen the big chair, umbrella or wishing well at the last few showers I went to.
What they did do was purchase the hamper the mommy-2-be registered for and use that as the "well"

Re: Baby Shower Question
For my wishing well, my friend bought a Moses basket from AC moore and painted it white. It looked beautiful. Now i use it in the babies room to hold stuffed animals.

Re: Baby Shower Question
They had the big chair at my first shower and I didn't sit in it very long. I was very uncomfortable.
