Boston Hotel Recommendations?
We are thinking about going to Boston for a long weekend.
It's kind of short notice (we would go the 9th-12th) so we need speedy recommendations about where to stay and what to see.
Any info would be appreciated.
TIA!!

Re: Boston Hotel Recommendations?
We've stayed at the Bertram Inn a few times (a Bed and Breakfast just outside Boston and by the train) and always enjoy it there. One place that I Love to visit is the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (a huge, old, gorgeous house/mansion whose owner collected soo many things, paintings, statues, tapestries you name it)! If you like museums, history and old buildings, definitely check it out.
Have fun!

some nice hotels are the boston millenium right next to fenuil hall
15 beacon is a great boutique hotel - right in beacon hill- staff is so nice
some other nice ones are omni parker (small rooms), nine zero (very modern), wyndham on broad st
both hotels.com and hotwire ar good -just selwect a high number of stars and back bay and boston common(theatre district)
great sites - public garden, newbury st, south end restaurants (opentable.com great place to get reservations), charles st, fenuil hall, harvard
i live in boston so there is lots to do -let me know if you have any questions

Re: Boston Hotel Recommendations?
OMG Lauren my favorite hotel in Boston -- Hotel Marlowe... You can bring puppy if you want, or even if not, tell them he is coming and you will get some nice gifts for him!!
Marlowe
My best friend outside Boston, as is my brother. We will be up there that weekend for my nephew's graduation.
I love the North End for dinner, and the Improv Place (can't remember the name). Faniel Hall, Aquarium, Duck Tours, the Constitution, so much to do and see...Chinatown...you'll have a great time!

Re: Boston Hotel Recommendations?
We recently stayed at XV Beacon and it was great! There was a fire place in the suite and a complimentary mercedes that you can use. I highly recommend it.

Re: Boston Hotel Recommendations?
Boston hotels can be pricey!
DH and I usually stay on the Cambridge side as it's a little cheaper. We just take a cab across the river into the city.
