Charting question
Hi Girls. I am new here. I have been reading some posts for awhile and finally decided to join. I have to say I have learned sooo much from you girls.
Ok when you chart, you have to use a basal thermometer? Where can I find this? Also, you cant start charting until you are off BC right? Sorry if this is a stupid question!!!!
What website does everyone use to chart. I am not ttc yet, but will start next summer. I would rather prepare early!!
Good luck to everyone. Again, thanks for all your previous help, and for all the future help!!!!!!

Re: Charting question
When you chart you do need to use a basal thermometer, it goes the 100th, soyour readings come out like 97.71, regular therms do not.
You can buy one at any pharmacy type store, walmart, eckerd, cvs, rite aide, walgreens in the pregnancy/condoms section. You should start charting after coming off bc so you get accurate readings. Remember BC tricks your body and plays with the chemicals/hormones, its those chemicals/hormones that make your temps rise and fall.
I used www.fertilityfriend.com, some girls have used ovusoft.com.
There are never silly questions!! Good luck!!
DOnt' forget soon as you go off BC to start your prenatals, over the counters will do, you can get pregnant right off BC!

Re: Charting question
www.fertilityfriend.com
Just want to add, the thermometer has to be basal but they don't all measure up to the 1/100. So if you have one that says 98.5 that's fine :)
