I don't think it is as much the Jets wanting him to go as it is for him pushing to leave. I find it very disappointing.
Anyway who would you want to replace him? I am not thrilled about any of the prospects right now.

I am glad he is leaving if its a definete decision we need a new coach on the Jets team and i hope we get a really good one so the Jets can win this year!!! All i have to say Is Good Bye edwards!!!!

Yeah, I can't say I'm disappointed that he's leaving. Although in ways he's a good motivator, I don't think he's a great coach. I hoped things would turn around when they got rid of Hackett, but nothing really changed. Even without the injuries, the play calling was pretty bad. Let's hope the Jets can rebuild the team with a better coach and better players.

I dont know whos worse Edwards or the players! Im a Jet fan and so sick of losing all the time! I loved when Bill Parcels was the coach!

I agree he was a great coach for the Jets!
I agree, but I did like Herm Edwards a lot. I am sad to see him leave.
