At what age did you start w/potty training?
We bought Amber a pot and she likes to sit on it and she'll even mimmick me and make a "TTTTTEEEEEEE" sound like she's peeing but there's nothing there. She is forever trying to get into the bathroom and flush the toliet, so I figured she might be ready. But if we get her all nekked, she just wants to fool around and pretend to pee

this is sucjh a good question I am getting a potty for marissa to see what she will do. I don't think she is ready but she is very curious about the toilet. Whe nI am in there she is in there trying to see what I am doing (sorry TMI) so I thought I would try she is 15 months I think she might be too young but you never know

Re: At what age did you start w/potty training?
My son is 3 and hes FINALLY potty training. My daughter is 16 months and she scoots her little hiney backwards to sit on his potty all the time so we're probably going to start with her soon. I never thought I would until at least 2 but she mimics everything he does so why not do it. Of course I dont know how shes going to pee standing up but we'll worry about that later LOL

Re: At what age did you start w/potty training?
My daughter is 20 months and I try to introduce her to the potty but she just sits on it and nothing happens. She also pulls on her diaper and runs to go to her potty once she already went in her diaper. Its as if she understands but is too late.

Re: At what age did you start w/potty training?
We started my son at about 18mos, because he was doing exactly what your little one was doing! He was doing nothing for quite sometime, except for pulling at his diaper AFTER he went--and just after he turned two he started doing PHENOMINAL.. Then I got preggo with #2 and had morning sickness for 17 weeks straight.. needless to say I am back at the pulling at his diaper stage.. he will be three in MArch...

Re: At what age did you start w/potty training?
Joseph started at about 2-1/2 - then we told him on his 3rd birthday he would be getting "big boy" underwear. He did pretty well once we went cold turkey - which was hard to do.
Maddie started going on the potty at 15 month - and has completely lost interest by 2 years old. Now that she's 2-1/2, I think we're going to have to get her "big girl" underwear & do the same.
It's hard to get motivated to go through that mess again. I've tossed plenty of underwear because I wasn't interested in cleaning it.

Re: At what age did you start w/potty training?
We started around 2, by 2 1/2 he was 90% now he is about 98% trained. He will be 3 in January. We still put a diaper on at night but it is usually dry in the morning. Every now and then he has an accident but just a tiny bit.
