Moms of two or more children
A few questions...
1. How far apart are your children in age?
2. Did you want them close together or spaced out and did their age differences turn out the way you had planned?
3. If you chose to have your children close together, what was your reasoning and were you happy with the result or would have liked them to be further apart in age?
4. Or if you chose to have your children more spaced out, what was your reasoning and were you happy with the result or would you have preferred they be closer in age. (Same question as #3 just reversed)

Re: Moms of two or more children
1. How far apart are your children in age? 22 mos apart- got pregnant the same month Baby#1 turned 1.
2. Did you want them close together or spaced out and did their age differences turn out the way you had planned? We wanted them closer together than 22 months but never really got around to it until my college roommate told me we should try together...dont' tell DH...
3. If you chose to have your children close together, what was your reasoning and were you happy with the result or would have liked them to be further apart in age? I'm a twin so I'm about as closest as you can get in age (2 min apart). DH & my SIL are 5 years apart. I liked the idea of siblings close in age. I find most siblings with over a 3 year gap are not as close growing up, but later in life can be. Also clothing wise (if they are the same sex) and planned right - clothes don't go out of style and hand me downs are more practical. Very happy with the result. They are into the same things for the most part. The younger one imitates the older one. The older one teaches the younger one alphabet sounds, etc. I wouldn't have changed the age difference if I had to do it over again but then again most people I know like whichever way they have it (spaced out or close together).

Re: Moms of two or more children
1. How far apart are your children in age? Baby #2 isn't born yet, but her due date is May 16th and my son's brithday is May 9th, so they will most likely be about 2 years apart.
2. Did you want them close together or spaced out and did their age differences turn out the way you had planned? We wanted them about 2 years apart, we just didn't think we'd get them 2 years apart to the very same week! We have no idea what we are in store for, but it was plannned!
3. If you chose to have your children close together, what was your reasoning and were you happy with the result or would have liked them to be further apart in age? We didn't get married until we were 30 (having been together 5 years at that point), so having children right away and having them close together was something we wanted, as we had been together for while and were ready. I will be 34 after this baby is born, so age was a factor. I'm very undecided about a 3rd at this point.

Re: Moms of two or more children
A few questions...
1. How far apart are your children in age?20 months to the day.
2. Did you want them close together or spaced out and did their age differences turn out the way you had planned?getting pregnant when my first was only 11 months old, was NOT planned. but i found having two young children at the same time, was not hard at all. i fell into a routine almost immediatly.
3. If you chose to have your children close together, what was your reasoning and were you happy with the result or would have liked them to be further apart in age? i would keep them 20 months apart, i wouldnt change it for a minute.
4. Or if you chose to have your children more spaced out, what was your reasoning and were you happy with the result or would you have preferred they be closer in age. (Same question as #3 just reversed)

A few questions...
1. How far apart are your children in age?
8 years
2. Did you want them close together or spaced out and did their age differences turn out the way you had planned?
I wanted them closer together but G-D had other plans for me I guess. I tried.
3. If you chose to have your children close together, what was your reasoning and were you happy with the result or would have liked them to be further apart in age?
Seeing how much they love each other, Im happy everything worked out this way.
4. Or if you chose to have your children more spaced out, what was your reasoning and were you happy with the result or would you have preferred they be closer in age. (Same question as #3 just reversed)
I started to TTC when my son was about 5. I was only 24 when I had my first so I really wasnt ready for the 2nd anytime soon. I had no idea it would take so long to conceive #2. Now that #2 is 2 years, I am working on #3

Re: Moms of two or more children
1. How far apart are your children in age?
18 months
2. Did you want them close together or spaced out and did their age differences turn out the way you had planned?
It was an accident. We just decided to wait 3-4 years, if we decided to have any more.
3. If you chose to have your children close together, what was your reasoning and were you happy with the result or would have liked them to be further apart in age?
I'm happy the way it worked out. Yes, some days are a lot of work, but I think that's no matter the age. I think the funniest thing people say is that they never want two in diapers. I always laugh, seriously, because that's the easiest part of the whole thing. Honestly, I know that a lot of the reason I have an easy time is because Gabriella's deposition is great! She's never really been jealous and acted out. Already after 3 months, I can see how my kids are going to be inseparable. It's like Gianni was always around and Gabriella absolutely adores him and vice-versa.
I know this has been asked a lot...personally, I don't think there is any right age. Ever age difference has it's advantages and disadvantages.
