Updates please....
I've lost track...
Where is everyone right now in their TTC process??
I'm a few DPO but my temps have stayed pretty flat and I think we missed a couple key days, so I'm not too optimistic about this cycle.
We are on our 2nd to last Clomid non-assisted cycle.

Re: Updates please....
Well I posted the long and short of mine so I guess I will recap and say I have AF now, we failed our 5th IUI attempt. #6 is delayed thanks to 2 very large cysts in my left ovary.
Just waiting....Gonna temp again this month, increase my vitamins and am researching acupuncture....( and try naturally OF COURSE!! )

Re: Updates please....
on CD 32 and still no AF
Over the past 12 months I have had 21 - 38 day cycles so I am guessing I ovulated this month on my own. And probably only the 2nd or 3rd time in a year.
I know I should have been temping to know for sure but my #'s were all screwy and I couldnt get a good chart the 1st month so I said Whatever happens happens. I am not the type of person to be charting/peeing on opk's etc so Im fine with it!
Sooooooo if I dont get AF in the next few days (or until I cant take it anymore!) Ill be peeing on another kind of stick
Im just doubtful because we went 4 days in a row w/o BD'ing and I think that was "my time" however there are no signs of AF!

Re: Updates please....
I am in my exploratory phase. I have a few consults lined up for the next three weeks.
I am trying to see if there are immune issues that are causing lack of implantation and sticky pregnancies. I have a consult with a hematologist, and a ob/gyn named Dr. Jonathon Scher. He is quite well known and does not take insurance. His speciality is miscarriage/immune issues.
After I have some info on that, I am going to decide which clinic to use, Cornell, or possibly North Shore. If my insurance reimburses me, I am definitely in with Cornell...however, if not, then I want to exhaust the insurance, before I start paying out of pocket.
Dr. Spandorfer from Cornell, is no longer going to be taking Ghi at the end of the month :(
Baby Dust to all !!! I hope the next update, we all get to say "PREGNANT"

Good luck!! I should get AF on Monday...if I don't, good news. But if I do...I immediately begin Gonal-F and all the other crap to prep for the IVF. I wasn't put on BCP tho.

Re: Updates please....
Well my RE still hasn't gotten me to "O" yet despite two cycles on Provera, Clomid (50mg, then 100 mg) then back to Provera... you ladies know the drill. Not one follicle has been over 10mm despite those meds.
I have my three month follow up consultation today. I feel like my RE's office gives EVERYONE the exact same protocol and doesn't treat the individual patients. Of the few cases of success I've known of from that clinic every lady had a normal cycle and at least one chemical prenancy in the past. they can't even get me to "O".
I am definitely switiching RE's if I don't get preggos on the 150mg of Clomid this cycle.
I don't even know what to say to my RE today. This is actually the first time I will see my actual doctor since my first consult at that office.
I think I then need to break for Feb as we are way too busy getting the house ready and living with IL's I don't even hacve a reliable phone (no cell reception in the basement). When I get a second I'm calling for another consult.
Good luck to you all.

Theresa - I could be wrong but I believe that Clomid is somewhat cumulative meaning that as you use it more, you will have a better result. Hopefully, this month will give you at least one beautiful 18mm + follie!!!

Re: Updates please....
Clomid doesn't work for all. Clomid is a drug that fools the body and causes the pituitary gland to raise the fsh hormone. Injectibles bypass the pituitary and work directly with the ovaries.
My friend has been ttc for many years. She initially saw a ob/gyn who had her on clomid for 8 cycles !!! She went to Cornell, and Re put her on injectibles and she responded extremely well to them. She got pg on her first injectible cycle (she did miscarry) but all her time on clomid was wasted.

Re: Updates please....
I guess I am still in my 2ww. AF hasnt shown her ugly head and its CD12, I did use clomid and try naturally this cycle and if it doesnt work this cycle (I dont know my temps are wacky) I did make an appt with East Coast Fertility for 2/1 and my dh wants to try an IUI with my current dr next cycle. So we are considering a couple of things.

Today we are getting a diagnosis from NSUH - I'm so nervous. I'll know more later, but I am expecting IVF (at least I kind of hope so, I want to move on)

Re: Updates please....
I will be starting my 3rd IVF cycle as soon as If get AF, which could be any day now. This is my last one, due to no more insurance in a little over a month, so I'm really, really hoping that it works!

Re: Updates please....
I don't post much here but just met with a new RE yesterday and again this morning to finish testing.
Apparently all this time I've been thinking that it's male factor. Last night the dr did a sonogram which revealed I have endometriosis on/near my right ovary. He thinks this is the main reason for us not getting pregnant.
Right now, I am a little bit confused and DH and I are going to have to weigh our options. Which would be surgery or IVF. It's kind of a big step either way so we'll have to see. IUI's will not help us at this point. I was hoping that it would've.
