What's wrong with my baby?
DD is 9 weeks old and had shots on Monday morning. She seemed fine on Monday. Tuesday she was fussy and fidgety but ate well. Today she is still fussy, gassy, drooling a lot, less appetite and her left eye is watery and crusty. All these symptoms together seem strange to me. Any ideas? Should I call the Ped?

it's probably not related to the shots but i would call the ped if she has a temp above 100.4, has watery poop, or eating habits change!

At 9 weeks my daughter still would get clogged tear ducts quite often (if you search for clogged tear ducts on here you'll probably find quite a few threads) so I wouldn't worry about that too much -- I'd take her temp and if it is high---call the dr -- if not see how she does through the night.

Re: What's wrong with my baby?
When in doubt, I always call the ped. I always say, "Thank you so much for calling me back. I am not sure whether it was really necessary for me to call, but I didn't want to disturb you in the middle of the night. I'd rather call you now, while you're still awake." The doctor always appreciates my "thinking of him/her." (Actually, I just know I'm going to call eventually anyway, so I do it sooner rather than later. ) If it will make you feel better, call. Then you will be able to get a good night of sleep.

My son had a delayed reaction to his shots, he was more cranky, fussy a couple of days after it moreso than immediately after. And the eye thing could POSSIBLY be a blocked tear duct (I just took Matteo to the doctor b/c his eye was watery and had some weird discharge, but that's all it was). So all of it happening together could just be a coincidence. I'm obviously not a doctor! So I'd just give a call to your pediatrician to check it out.
