I'm anal... so I would just wait. Though you might be too tired to want to go afterwards!

If it's not too painful I would probably just wait. Although, it may be harder to find the time when the baby comes. Will you have to be off your feet after the shot? If so, I might do it now.

I would wait it out, if you can. I have had cortizone shots in my feet and they are very painful. Also, I would be leary about getting any shots while preggo.

If your OB/GYN says its okay, I'd get it done so that you can recover from it and be on your feet when the baby needs you.

I would def wait it out. I used to get cortizone shots in my elbows when I was a little kid b/c of some skin problems and even though I was a older they kept saying how bad it is for your bones so they try not to do it too often.
Figure that your baby's bones are still growing inside... I would just worry.

I totally agree 100%. Another reason to get it know is especially if you plan on BF'ing, you won't have to worry about the meds and your milk.

Re: What would you do? Preggo related....
I would get it now. When they inject it into your foot, they are not injecting it right into your bloodstream so not that much is going to get absorbed. They specifically do it in the foot so that the medication stays localized in that area.
After you have the baby you will be wiped out and will probably not feel like schlepping to the doctor's office to subject yourself to a cortisone shot in the foot BUT you WILL need to be on your feet ALOT to care for the new little person.
Since your OB said it is okay, I would go ahead and do it now.

Re: What would you do? Preggo related....
I would do some of my own research and then ask another OB in the office for a 2nd opinion.
