Re: C-Section question - BTDT moms
I've heard it can take months - I had a c-section in Nov. and my incision is still numb and hurts sometimes.

Re: C-Section question - BTDT moms
I don't have any pains, but the area where the incision was made is a little tender still.

Re: C-Section question - BTDT moms
I had my c/s back in July also and I can honestly say that the occasional odd "pulling" sensation didn't stop until recently. I would say at around 7+ months pp. I haven't really felt anything since then. My scar was even still itchy up until then.
It can still act up around pms time too.

I also had my c-section back in July, and I only experience some abdominal pain when I'm due for my period. When I got AF back for the first time I remember have VERY bad pain like sharp sensations by my scar area, I dont get it anymore, but it was scary.

Re: C-Section question - BTDT moms
It can last for many months. Everyone heals differently. I had SEVERE internal pain until I had a 2nd surgery a year later. I had "adhesions" which is scar tissue. The OB needed to cut it away. Once I had the second surgery the internal pain stopped.

Re: C-Section question - BTDT moms
My incision does not hurt at all anymore, not even any tenderness, but the area is still numb. I asked my OB and this can last for months and eventually comes back. My MIL had surgery about 15 years ago and the incision is the same as a c-sect incision and its still numb.

Re: C-Section question - BTDT moms
I had a c-section in June and I never had any pain. Guess I was lucky.

Re: C-Section question - BTDT moms
I didn't have any real pain after all the healing was said and done, about 2 weeks maybe?
Now that I am almost 9 months PG with my second, I do have to say that I feel like the incision is being stretched to the max and its not such a great feeling. I mean its uncomfortable, but not painful.
