Sleeping Question...
Anyone else have this problem? I am 14 weeks and I can't sleep a full night, I am twisting and turning, I lay on my side for 15 min, than hip hurts, turn over, 15 min. other hip hurts. Is this something else or pregnancy related? I am assuming pregnancy related. my hip hurts even throughout the day sometimes. Could this be restless leg syndrome? I've heard of that, but don't even really know what it means?

Re: Sleeping Question...
I am 14+ weeks as well and I havent had an uniterrupted night of sleep in a while!! I am constantly tossing and turning, and still getting up to pee 2x's a night. I try the pillow between the legs thing, and it helps a bit. I think its just part of pregnancy, its also uncomfy for me to sleep on my stomach lately, I feel pressure when I try to and dont last very long... oh well its worth it!

Re: Sleeping Question...
I bought one of those Snoogle pillows at BRU and it works great. I've been sleeping so much better. But I still get up to go the bathroom.

Yes, I have it too. I am at 35 wks now and it has only gotten worse. All I can do is flip every half hr or so. The pillow between the legs does help. I think it's just the weight of the belly.

Re: Sleeping Question...
I have it too. I never sleep the whole night. I read that it's your body preparing yourself to wake up with the baby. If you look at it that way, it helps a little. You're just practicing

Re: Sleeping Question...
I had this discomfort start around 14 weeks too. The Snoogle did help. I've also had insomnia which set in right about where you are. At 33 weeks now, I jump for joy anytime I can sleep 6 or more hours (including being able to go back to sleep after the bathroom)!!

Re: Sleeping Question...
I haven't slpet through the night sice I found out I was pregnant. I get up to pee 2-4 times a night and then I often have major trouble falling back asleep. I've just given in to the idea that I will not get a full nights sleep for the next two years.

Re: Sleeping Question...
I was also having problems sleeping because I would turn to my back and I would wake myself up because I know its bad to sleep on your back.
Since I also get up like 3 times to pee, I noticed that if I keep a nightlite on in the bathroom so I don't have to put the real light on I fall back to sleep quicker.

I was up at 3am last night to pee and stayed up till 4:30 and i kept saying to myself well i guess this is preparing me for getting up throughout the night!
Since 8 weeks it has been impossible for me to sleep through the night. I pee at least 3x a night and now with my belly growing (and i was a belly sleeper) i am constantly tossing and turning.
So strange to me too because i have really severe exhaustion so you would think i could sleep through the night no problem.
