What kind of hot dogs are the "best" to give?
I was thinking Hebrew National when we are ready to try those.

I only give Sammy turkey hot dogs. Just please whatever you do cut the hotdogs very small and peel them. I have heard very sad stories about kids and hot dogs.

Re: What kind of hot dogs are the "best" to give?
We started to give Andrew hot dogs this summer. I cut them in slices, then cut the slices in 4's. I did not peel them, they were just small enough to eat. I just gave him a 1/2 hot dog cut up and it was most like a Sabret one. Not special ones for him

Why give hot dogs regularly enough to care? Think of hot dogs like you think of birthday cake. Its junk food whatever brand, so just for fun/special occassions.

This is what I use also. Unfortunately right now it's the only way I can get beef into Miranda. It is definitely not on the top of my list but I think she has texture issues with ground beef and steak like meat and will not eat the organic beef baby food dinners so that's out. Oh well. Hot dogs won't be forever.

Re: What kind of hot dogs are the "best" to give?
My honest answer is that NO hot dog is the best hot dog to give. Do you know what they put in those things? But take this from where it's coming from. I've never had a hot dog in my life and my baby isn't eating anything but formula and oatmeal, so maybe when I try to give her food and she'll take nothing else, I'll be asking about hot dogs, too

We use the Applegate Farm ones also. The "Stadium Dogs". They are 100% beef and there are no nitrates. They actually don't taste that bad. We also have the turkey ones on occassion.
