xpost from home - extra blanket for the bed
Can anyone recommend an extra blanket for the bed to go between the topsheet and the quilt? I hvae a lightweight quilt and last year it got chilly sometimes, but we didn't have an extra blanket. So we'd put this ugly Giants blanket on the bed too that DH has but it's so ugly and I'm looking for a better alternative this year.
I want something lightweight but don't really know what to get since I've never used a blanket like this before.

try JCPenney. they sell those fleece/acrylic blankets with the satin trim that are similar to the ones hotels put between the sheet and bedspread. Those work nicely. They have "knit" ones that are super warm, but the way they are made, they slouch off the bed and are harder to keep where you want them.
these blankets
many are on sale, too!!

Velour blankets are good for that and they aren't expensive.

I got two blankets at Bed Bath and Beyond because my dh hogs the covers..so I needed my own.
They are the softest blankets ever! They are made by Serasoft and come in different sizes.
