Annoyed or Relieved????Sorry LONG...
So my very annoying SIL to be is getting married in August. Last year, we had been looking at houses in her neighborhood and she basically told me(didn't really ask) that I could throw the day after brunch at my place. Fine, no problem, I love to cook and would love to show my DH family our new house.
So we buy a house in a different neighborhood about 25 minutes away. I keep asking her for her list so I can send invites to everyone and let them know our address. She keeps "forgetting". Now she sends an email to DH sister who hates her and she forwards it to me since there is all these details about guests coming to the wedding that she wants DH sister to deal with and she is really pi$$ed.
In the email, she says we are planning a brunch at our place the day after the wedding, just wanted you to know.
HELLO- you told me to throw you a brunch, now YOU are doing it and NOT EVEN GOING TO TELL ME!!! When was I going to find out- after I bought all the stuff I needed which I planned to start doing this week! She is such a pill! I don't know if I should be annoyed or just relieved that I don't have to throw this thing.
She just better not expect me up there at her house early- cooking and serving people at her house. All bets are off now.

Both! Geez, and how about a thank you for graciously opening your home for it?
