re post from pregnancy: registry items
OK, I think I have my registry about finished. I have gone through BRU suggestions and have everything I think I need...but, Im paranoid that Im forgetting little things that may be important.
I have all of the obvious on there: high chair, stroller, car seats bouncy chair, swing, exersaucer diaper genie bottles bibs, wash clothes, burp clothes, changing table covers, receiving and swaddle blankets crib and bassinet sheets onesies baby book baby spoons, sippie cupS, pacifiers hooded towels, bath tub monitor, eat thermometer pack and play
anything you can think of that I may have missed? things that were out of the ordinary that you put on and are glad you did? gifts you got that I may want to add on registry?
thanks so much for your help! geez, thid has been a big procedure!!

Re: re post from pregnancy: registry items
A few of things I didn't have on my registry and ended up sending DH out to buy the first week:
Microwave Steam Sterilzer - you may decide you don't need it, and you rather boil, in which case you can return it. But it comes in really handy especially for sterilizing pumping supplies.
Pack n'play sheets
A basket for the dishwasher to wash baby stuff in (very cheap and it's a lifesaver)
waterproof pads for the crib
make sure you register for enough burp cloths (2 - 3 packs)
Also - may I suggest the diaper champ instead of the diaper genie because then you don't have to buy special bags for it.
Dreft - laundry detergent for baby clothes
side-snap onesies
bottle cleaning brush
I'll add on if I think of anything else...

Re: re post from pregnancy: registry items
The bobby also helps with bottle feeding since it support the baby's head more. You could just use a pillow under your arm but the boppy works well.
It also helps with:
congestion: they can lay in it on an incline pictures: Throw a blanket over it & lay them belly down with their arms over the side sitting up: supports them as they learn to sit
eta: the ear thermometer does'nt really work well on infants. Their ear canals are too small to get an accurate reading. I used a thermometer pacifier, a regular thermometer and the thermometer stickers.

Re: re post from pregnancy: registry items
ogh geez...maybe Id better add another yype of thermometer on to the lost if the ear one doesnt work well on infant. do most of you suggest a paicifier one in that case? any particular brand?
so much to know!!!
the boppy sounds good. I will definately add one of those on to my reg.
