House Renting
DH and I want to buy/rent a small house in Sound Beach/Rocky Point area. Does anybody have any advice as to how to start and what to do? Especially to apply for any first time home buyer grants. How much do you think we are looking at as a payment?

My dh and I are looking for a house in the same areas.. we have a real estate agent helping us, a fam friend, but she's wonderful. Do you want to work with a real estate agent?
You can also look on MLSLI.com for the houses that are for sale in the area.. and drive by to see them. Most of the homes in that area are going for good prices.. with lower taxes.. it depends on where you look. Some of the home we have seen need updating, some dont.. it depends on what you're looking for. I would recommend looking on the above website to get an idea of what is available and take it from there.. fm me if you have any ques~~
