Holy c r a p! I think I am ovulating!
Its cd 16 and I think I am ovulating. I took a target and a clearblue ovulation test and they both came back with dark lines. Although, when I did the cheap test strip that I ordered online (yes, I am obsessive)..that one showed negative. So now I am not too sure...but day 16 sounds about right with the long cycles I have been having...what do you think redstar??? LOL
Also...the instructions say ill be ovulating in 24-36 hours...do we bd every day now for 3 days or wait till tomorrow to start???

Ok..I took another target brand one and nothing. I dont know whats going on...I feel twinges on my right side but I felt twinges on my right side last month..arent you supposed to ovulate from the opposite ovary every month? Why cant this just be easy??????????

You actually don't always switch sides for ovulation. Some people have a more dominant side
As far as the opks, I hate to say this because I know a lot of people rely on them but I have found them unreliable.
The clearblue monitor sticks have always been accurate for me.
Are you charting Noreen ??? Start tomorrow Am, and send me the temps, if you have temps the next few days that are all typical post Ovulatory temps...then, we can pretty much confirm ovulation .
As far as bding. If dh has good sperm count, bd every day.....during this time. If dh's count is on the lower side, bd every other night. Eat tons of baby carrots, drink a lot of water, and enjoy :)

Have you thought about getting the monitor? I've never had a problem with the OPK but maybe you need something a little better/stronger/more in tune with your body.
And hey, go BD your brains out the next few days. Can't hurt can it? Like Redstar mentioned, if DH has a low sperm count, every other day

I keep track of those twinges in my planner and notice that I will have several (3) months in a row when the pains are on my right side. This past month, they were on my left. They are def. ov pains b/c AF comes about 14-15 days later. I always presumed you alternate, but apparently not.
