what do braxton hicks feel like?
I keep getting this tugging tight feeling as I sit at my desk. Feels almost like someone is above me tugging my belly with a rope. It last for a second or two and thats it.

The best way I ould describe them is, it feels like a strong period cramp and you feel your belly get hard. Real labor pains start from the back!

DH come on like a bell curve or like the shape of hill. They can start top down, bottom up or from the sides.
Your uterus becomes really tight everwhere and can last up to 30-45 seconds.
At this point in your pg, that may be the baby leaning or stretching against the uterine wall. It could have been a foot!

For me, it feels like my whole belly tightens up - like making a tight muscle - if I'm walking I have to stop for a minute. Its a tight muscle/light cramping feeling for me. And my belly is actually hard to the touch.
