My boss had me going for a whole week. He told me we were closing the office this Saturday b/c he has something to do. Soooo I was all excited I didn't have to wake up at butt-thirty, and I made plans with my Mom!
Welllll I found out yesterday that it was just an April Fools Joke 
WHo does that?!?!

Iplayed the best April Fools joke in my DH a few years ago and I a still laughing about it to this day.
My husband has his own office but it has no windows, therefore never knows what the weather is outside. Sso i called him and told him that my mom had called and said it was snowing like crazy at home. some sort of freak storm. He says to me...."ok, tell your mom not to shovel or anything, Im going to go tell (his boss) that he has to leave now and get home. Tell her I will be home as soon as possible!"
I couldnt hold back the laughter for too long....I really should have let him go to his boss and say that he has to leave early to go home a shovel!! but I thought that too mean!!

last year i called my mom n asked her if the bank called her about her account...well i told her that they called me and told me i had no money left in my account (this is my wedding fund account lol)...n i said someone called from the bank, they wanted to know why i took out everything...
she dropped the fone at work and was hysterical

a couple of years ago we got one of my friends real good.
That year April fools landed on a Friday and since every friday night we would go to one person house and hand out and talk/play board games/drink/what nots, so i called the girl and told her to video tape her bathroom making the toilet the center of attention. then she was to take the tape out of the camera and put it into the VCR and leave the camera somewhat hidden in the corner of the bathroom.
So we had all arrived and had a few drinks when one of the guys got up to use the bathroom. when he came out we were all sitting on the couch watching the tape laughing. When he realized what was going on he started to flip out saying that we invaded his privacy. He treathed to call the cops.

From when I was little:
My brother and I used to sneak downstairs before my mom and tape the spritzer thingy on the sink with invisible tape so when she turned on the water she got soaked by the spray.
Such a kid prank but it worked EVERY YEAR!
I used to do this ALL the time - I can't believe it worked every year! LOL

I have an ex who ALWAYS did something. One year, for a co-worker, he took all the letters on the keyboard and mixed them up. The worst was in college, he wrote a letter from the Dean - put it on "official" college letterhead and all, telling the student that they were suspended for cheating on a test or something... it was really mean

THE BEST EVER:
honey and i had gotten into a very minor traffic incident with an idiot driver - long story short, she ended up with a broken sideview mirror (caused by meeting violently with honey's fist.. )
anyway, about 2 months later on April 1st, i had a co-worker of mine call him up and pretend to be the "attorney" of the woman whose mirror he broke!  the "attorney" went on to tell honey how she was suing him for $$$$$ - damage to her vehicle, and mental anguish...honey went BALLISTIC! told the attorney that him and his client can go **** themselves, that he wasn't going to pay a dime, etc etc....
i took the phone from my co-worker and told honey "GOTCHA"!!!!
honey's words: "You ****ing B**tch!!!!!
he got over it eventually!! we STILL laugh about that one!! (AND the one from the plane - but that's a whole other story!!! classic - pure classic)!!!!!!!!

The year before we were getting married DH called me at work and said "did your mom call you yet" i said "NO, why!?!?" and there was a long pause and he got all serious and told me that villa lombardi's had a fire the night before. I instantly started to cry!! When he heard me crying he felt so bad--but was still laughing!

i would have told him that because he said the office was closing tomorrow, you booked a weekend getaway with FH and that it is already paid for, so he is SOL.

yeah, spring ahead.
Either way, he won't be ON TIME, thats for sure.
it will REALLY be 5:45, but if he thinks he has to "spring ahead", he'll set his clock 1 hr in advance....therefore, he'll be at work at 6:45 when its really 5:45. right?
