Crockpot....Split Pea Soup (healthy)
3 cups of dried spil peas 7 cups water (or vegetable stock) 1 chicken bullion cube (optional) 1 bay leaf 1 tsp dry mustard 1 Tbsp minced garlic 2 carrot chopped 2 potatoes pealed and chopped 1 onion diced salt and pepper to taste
4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
SO easy & SO THICK!!!!!!
I supposed you could do it on the stove, but I never have

I make split pea soup on the stove a lot. Its just as easy. It only takes about 45-60 mins. Longer if you like it thicker, less if you're hungry!
