Dining Room Table Help
I was at a friend's house this weekend and she had a dining room table that sat 4 ppl. but it had another table piece folded on top.....when you unfolded it, you could sit 6-8 ppl. She bought it at the Great Indoors but I'm looking for somewhere on Long Island that I could get something similar. Do I make sense?
Our dining room is very small so we can't get a big table so this would be perfect, we're looking for oak/light colored.

I bought a butterfly table. It sets up for anywhere from 4-8 people. All closed up it seats 4 comfortably. With the butterfly extension it seats 8. We got it at Basset furtniture on rt 110.
here are some pics..ours is counter height, but you can get it regular height.

there are also some exterior pics and some stair pics on this link. The table is full extended in the pics and is a square, but all folded up it's a rectangle.

Thank you! I loved Basset. They were very helpful and the table came in wrong because the sales person made a mistake on the order and one of the sales people actually came to my home to fix the situation. I've never had that experience in my life. Overall, I would highly recommend them. The service and selection went beyond my expectations. They have other tables there too if this one doesn't work out for you. The prices were not that bad either. They have a 12 month/no payments/no interest card too. We did that.
The leaf is actually attached and it folds underneath the table. The table is also treated with a warranty so you don't need table pads. You don't have to polish the table..that's the best part for me.

I like the ones from Ikea!!! Just the color we're looking for. How much do they run? Also, does Ikea carry matching chairs?

I think mine is $129 now. It wasn't available on the web, but it was listed there.
I bought mine years ago. It is called Jussi
it is pretty small though, even opened.
They do have chairs in the same finish, that you can buy seperately.
