Sooo not feeling good...any advice?

I'm sorry to complain again today but I am soooo not feeling good at all.

I don't know what it is. I feel sick to my stomach, I'm sweating (but don't have a fever), I've been in the bathroom a couple of times already this morning (sorry TMI), I have horrible heartburn (which is kind of the norm for me), I have cramping feeling on and off - like AF cramping, I've been having BH today - I've only had 11 in four hours so it's not like I have to call my dr about them.

The baby has been moving around like crazy and hurting me again most of the morning too.

I just feel so damn crappy - I dont know what to do. I'm off from work tomorrow so I'm hoping to stick out today here at work.

Do you think its a bug? Could it just be the pregnancy?

Hang in there. I doubt you have a bug, you are in the last weeks of pregnancy which is no walk in the park unfortunately. Almost there!!

Re: Sooo not feeling good...any advice?

I would call your doctor - DH and I had part I of our childbirth class on Sunday and the instructor said that when you're at your due date, you might feel "off" or flu-ish!
It could just be that you're getting sick, but it couldn't hurt to check in with your doc. Feel better and good luck! Chat Icon

Other than the hypoglycemia & pregnancy, do you have any other medical issues?

I would call your doctor anyway. The sweating, the heart palpitations aren't anything I'm familiar with, but everyone is different

Better safe than sorry.

eta. And I'm parked in Huntington & catching the 5:06 again. Feel better Chat Icon

No nothing else besides hypoglycemia and pregnancy. I'm going to go out and get something to eat for lunch and if I don't feel better after that I will call my doctor.

I'm trying to stick it out as long as I can today but I dont know, I'm just not feeling right - and to top it off, my boss is being a bit of a Chat Icon

Re: Sooo not feeling good...any advice?

I know you are not due yet and I don't want to scare you but these could be signs of labor-you described my firend(with the twins) symptoms of labor. just call your Dr and see if they can check you. They can give you medicine to stop your labor if you catch it in time. Again not to be alarmist but i know she would have been so happy to be told this-also even if your baby was born now she would probably be fine but never hurts to be safe. Chat Icon

Re: Sooo not feeling good...any advice?

I have a sono tomorrow to see how big she is and my dr is 2 minutes from the place Im having the sono, so I think I might just go there tomorrow. I havent been feeling right a few days now.

ETA: Im not really too worried about premature labor right now because Ive been measuring 4 wks ahead (so Im measuring 39 wks) and having the sono to see if she is ahead too. If she is, my dr will probably schedule a date to induce me...possibly the week of April 24th. So, I guess I'll know more tomorrow.Chat Icon

Re: Sooo not feeling good...any advice?

Good! I am glad she is bigger. You will be fine but it is always good to know what is going on with your body and your bean. Good luck please update us after you go.
Also in the bathroom if it is the "loose" TMI!kind and that is unusual that is supposed to be a sign too

Re: Sooo not feeling good...any advice?

Well..it runs in my family in a way.

My cousin was PG a few years ago and was due May 8th (my exact due date) ...she had been measuring a month ahead (just like me) and had the baby April 9th!!

Same thing happened with her sister (my other cousin)! Chat Icon

I'd call your doctor. My girlfriend has bad diarreah when she went into labor with her first, she thought it was the flu but finally went to the hospital and was 5 cm! With her second she was vomiting all night the night before and got to the hosptial the next am to be rehydrated and they told her she was in labor, almost 4cm.
