Re: food at 6 months

I was giving that at 5 months - the little piggy loves to eat Chat Icon

I started stage 2 I hope I am not giving her too much to eatthough. My doc said she can have anything in a jar now. I just should not introduce 2 new foods at one time

Re: food at 6 months

I started stage 2 when she seemed to want more after stage 1. It wasn't so much a matter of development as it was how much can she eat!

Re: food at 6 months

I think I worded it wrong. My ped said she can have any jarred baby food. Did you give your little ones the berry fruits at 6 months? They have apple and strwberry and it sounds good.

one of my twin girls is 16 pounds..I never saw the berry fruits with the strawberry. Syd my 16 pounder seems satisfied with what i am giving her..i am always confused as to when to up the food intake. How much do you feed and how often?

Re: food at 6 months

Here is Sara 's schedule for now

Morning ( this varies when she wakes up) I f she wakes up EARLY then I give her a bottle and the about an hour later I give her the cereal

Breakfast: 3 - 4 tablespoons of cereal ( made with formula) with one stage 1 fruit OR 1 /2 of a stge 2 fruit followed by 4 ounces of formula . Sometimes she will eat the entire stage 2 fruit

Lunch: 1 stage 2 food ( veggie or meat meal) and fruit . 1/2 of stage 2 sometimes more or an entire stage 1 followed by 5 ounce bottle

snack: a few puffs

Dinner : same as breakfast

sleep time: 6 ounce bottle. I am trying to wean her of this one but she eats dinner at 5PM
