Well, it's happened....he's found his "friend"

DH thinks it's a developmental milestoneChat Icon He will NOT leave it alone. Pulls it, pinches it, squeezes it, punches it. Diaper changes have become extremely interesting...especially since 9 times out of 10 after pulling tugging and pinching he pees. Chat Icon

BTDT moms - should I just igore it and let him investigate or should I not really let him play?

Well I have a girl and she finally discovered there's something down there tooChat Icon My Mom tries to discourage it and I'm like "Let her check it out - she'll have a lifetime of seeing what goes on down there!Chat Icon " Actually she is fused and I have been putting off getting her surgically corrected, so if I catch her down there, I don't stop her because I'm hoping she'll "correct" the problem on her ownChat Icon

Alex found his at about 8 months old. I told my mom. Well they start touching it at around 8 months and don't stop until they are in a pine box. Chat Icon

I just let him play and ignore. Sometimes I laugh. He pulls it out so far, its like silly putty. Its amazing how something so small can be stretched so far.

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Thanks girls - I figured it was best to let him, well, explore. But, my DH can't leave his alone for 5 seconds and I'm REALLY hoping Joseph won't be like that tooChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Another ignore suggestion. When he gets older & understands more, you tell him that he needs to do that in private only.

I only hope that your boys learn when they should NOT talk about their penises. I'm still not over the trip in the crowded elevator.Chat Icon

Welcome to the world of boys, it's like a right of passage. I usually ignore it except when it's a poopy diaper bc I don't want him getting his hands all in it.

This is the worst! I'm like a contortionist changing his diaper - one arm in the way so he can't play with it (and the poo) another changing the diaper and dangling a toy in front of him with my big toeChat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Well, it's happened....he's found his "friend"

Emily found her little area around 2 months ago -- scratches it like crazy when we are doing diaper changes -- and DH has to leave the room. He just can't handle it!
