the best OPK?

Hey girls

Whick OPK does everyone prefer?
How do these things work?
How many tests come in a package?
How expensive is this?

I figured before I spend an hour in CVS, I'd come to the experts.

I think most packs come with 7 test sticks. I don't remember how much it cost, maybe $12. I know there are cheaper ones, though. I tried the Answer brand last month and the Clearblue Easy brand this month. You POAS, and then two lines appear - test line and reference line. If the test line is as dark or darker than the reference line, it's time to BD.

When do you start testing? Right after your period ends?

I preferred the Answer ones.
Using them - pee on a stick for about 5 seconds, you will always get a control line (this tells you that your test works) Control line is on the right. You may get a line on the left that is light, this does not mean that you are ovulating. Its coming, but not quite yet.
Each day or each time you test that left line should get darker, when the left line becomes as dark as the control line, you are about to ovulate.
The Answer package - 7 come in a box
I believe they are about $10-11 (in Walmart)

There is a chart in these boxes to tell you about when to start using them, if you have an average cycle. If you have irregular cycle, you may want to buy the box with 20 strips. I do not know much about these though

Iprefer the Answer ones and I have tried many, but I always know for sure its positive with those, nice dark lines....

and I start around CD (cycle day) 10 because I O all over the place,,,
