How to clean an iron...
any remedies??? My iron is starting to get that black/brown stuff on it....

I use this stuff and its great!
You can buy it at supermarkets or bed Bath and Beyond for about $3

I use rubbing alcohol - with the iron on a very low setting.....clean it with a rag with rubb. alcohol. Sometimes might need to use a toothbrush.

Turn the iron on and iron wax paper. It cleans it and the wax on the paper actually helps it glide better.
