Some questions for gals that were past their EDD
We are past our EDD 5 days and hanging in there I don't take the EDD too literately as it is only "estimated". I am wondering, for those of you that went past, how accurate was your last sono with weight? We had our last Thursday evening and she was 7 lb 15 oz - 8 lbs. If we make it to tomorrow our morning appointment we have another sono. I am trying to get an idea if she will be that weight or more or less.
Also what were you feeling physically the last few days and or right before labor happened? I have been having mild - moderate menstrual type cramps on and off but nothing consistent. Thanks

Re: Some questions for gals that were past their EDD
I was 8 days late and the MW said high 8's to low 9's by "feeling" and the sonos were saying mid 9s. My son was 10 lb 2 oz!
I have to say that the last week and a half were tough physically. Walking was very painful, but that could have been due to the size too?
My labor started with mild/moderate menstrual cramps, so I bet you will be soon! GOOD LUCK!!!

Re: Some questions for gals that were past their EDD
I was 11 days late with my little boy, he was due on the 29 December and was born on the 9th January after 3 days of induction. My midwife estimated that he would be between 7 - 8 lbs and he was 7 lbs 14 oz...
I was feeling pretty good, the only thing that I felt was quite a bit of low pressure. Nothing happened to me until the night before I was due to go in for induction, I had a bloody show and I spent the whole night having really mild contractions. When I went into the hospital the next day my plug started to go gradually!
Hand in there and just enjoy being able to sleep (if you can) because once that baby comes, well, pregnancy seems like it was a breeze! If you are being induced I have one word of advice, early epidural! Once they give you that epidural...hoo momma, you will be happy as larry!
Good luck!!!

Re: Some questions for gals that were past their EDD
I had DS#1 @ 41w4d and at 40w they estimated he was about 10 pounds. He was 9 lbs. 5 oz. DS#2 was estimated at about 9 pounds @ 40w and he was 8 lbs. even when he was born at 40w3d.
ETA: I wasn't feeling much the few days before delivery b/c I was induced w/ both. They had no intentions of coming out w/o a little medical intervention.

Re: Some questions for gals that were past their EDD
I was 11 days past my due date with 24 hours of induction. They told me Sammy would be about 10 pounds, he was 8 pounds 11 oz. I never had contractins on my own I was just so tired. He was in my ribs the entire time
