Anyone have a canopy....(but not posts?) Pic shown
I wanted to see if anyone had one of these and liked or disliked it. (I definitely would not have it hang so low from the ceiling)

Re: Anyone have a canopy....(but not posts?) Pic shown
I don't have one, but in my stepdaughters room she has the smaller kind with the circle, its cute. I have seen shows on HGTV where the take fabric panels & attach them to the ceiling where posts would be & let the fabric go down to the floor. It looks really clean & pretty. I've seen the kind you posted set up in stores & it looks good but I think it can also look sloppy.

really you've seein it in stores. I have never actually seen it in person. I would want it attached closer to the ceiling.
We rent and don't want to buy a bed frame until have a house. So I thought this might be a pretty way to "finish" off the bed.

I've seen it on display in linens & things or bed bath & beyond. Its nice & I'm sure if you attatched it closer it would look better. You'll need to make holes in the ceiling though-and probably repair them when you move out if you rent. We used a ceiling plant hook to attach my daughter's to the ceiling.

I don't have one, I never could because of my allergies. Those things are big dust collectors. Plus my cat would tear it to shreds.

yeah, it doesn't matter for me...and its even worse with the pregnancy. DH was drilling holes in our new kitchen cabinets for the hardware and just that little bit of dust in the house ruined me for the weekend.

I am sure.....the full one I like is about $60. I am hoping my mom can volunteer to make it....and i buy the fabric for cheaper.
