Mommy and Me type groups in Floral Park area
I would go to Gymboree or Little Gym, but we are living on one salary , so I don't want to pay too much money. Any places in the area that are maybe community sponsered ? Madeline is just about 6 months. TIA

You could try to check with your local church/temple. I joined w/ my church when my 1st was 16 months. It's $20 for 10 months (to cover craft supplies/snacks) and we met for an hour/once a week. My son made a bunch of friends there.

My SIL told me that she knows of a group that meets at the samuel field y on little neck parkway.
