Let's share some of the nice things people have done for you....

I know there have been several posts about people being rude or ignorant but I have encountered some really nice people in the last couple of weeks.

1. DH and I went to the city for the Billy Joel concert and the train was beyond packed. After standing for one stop, a woman gave up her seat for me.

2. At a conference I attended last week there was a huge line for the bathroom during a break and the ladies let me cut to the front (which I was SO grateful for).

3. Yesterday at Target, I was holding my 4 items on the long express line and the nice lady in front of me grabbed the items out of my hand and pushed me infront of her.

It's reassuring to know that there are some kind, considerate people out there! Just wanted to share for those of you who have encountered idiots.

Ok

1- I was at Woodbury Commons on Saturday and the bathroom line was very long. This older lady screamed at the top of her lungs "ladies, we got a pregnant woman here, can she cut the line???" I was pushed to the front of the line and I was so thankful. Then on my way out I said thank you to her and she told me "honey, most of us have been there. Sistas need to stick together" and she asked to touch my belly. I let her. Chat Icon

2 - I was at wal mart last Thursday and the check out girl asked if I needed help wheeling my cart to my car. Of course I said no. Then, the toilet paper fell out of my cart (it was on the very top of everything) and one of the workers there wheeled my cart to my car for me and put the heavy bag of dog food in my trunk for me. He said that he would want someone to do the same for his wife when she becomes pregnant. Chat Icon

I have been getting a seat a lot on the trains. I am amazed. Honestly every time I am on a train someone gives up their seat for me.

Very good friends of DH and I, took time out of their extremely busy schuedules to take us to Buy Buy Baby to register. They were so happy to do it, and loved informing us of the best and most useful items. These particular friends have been fantastic throughout this entire pregnancy.

People have just been complimenting me a lot, saying how great I look...regardless if they are telling the truth, it makes me feel good. Chat Icon

A good friend made us baby blanket.

The list goes on and on. Being pregnant seems to bring out the best in people.

I actually have a few.
I got to this deli for breakfast and they always make an extra egg for me and they also give an extra free orange juice.
When I get into my car if there is someone around, they will shut the door for me.
When I drop something, people always pick it up for me.
Some co-workers buy me chocolate milk (my favorite).
I went to the supermarket the other day and an employee brought the bags out to my car.
