You should get some really wonderful sono pictures. It usually takes the tech a while to get the correct measurements, so you will probably get to see the baby move all around, which is fun. Then, they'll do a finger prick test to take blood. Good luck!

Dawn, is this your 12 week N/T screening?
If so- it is a detailed ultrasound along with a finger-prick blood test, which combined screens for Down syndrome and other chromosomal abnormalities. The ultrasound is more detailed and measures the folds behind the babies neck - you get a great look at your baby
