is there a difference? ( silly question)
DH and i had a disagreement about this yesterday. Whenever we talk on the phone he always says "how u doing" which is ok, but since becoming pregnant i always expect him to say "how are you feeling". He swears that there is no difference, but i think there is. I got so upset because he never asks how i'm feeling, its always the usual "how u doing". Maybe its the hormones, but its like he forgets that i'm pregnant now. Ok vent over.

Re: is there a difference? ( silly question)
It think it ultimately means the same but I do see where asking how you feeling sounds more sensitive than how you doing- to me how you doing is when you first meet someone and ask them that- or you havent seen them in awhile and you ask how are you doing.

Re: is there a difference? ( silly question)
Everyone who calls me asks me "how are you feeling" and frankly...I'm tired of being asked because I always say I feel fine. Then...if I say what I am doing, I get comments like, you can't do that! I always say...I'm pregnant...I'm not crippled

I agree. I'm kind of sick of being asked how I am feeling. Although, I appreciate the sentiment. I am 20 lbs heavier, my feet look like clubs and it feels like 100 degrees outside. And my back is always killing me. How do you think I feel?

I say this all the time too! I'm sure I will be regretting taking advantage of it when I'm working my 24th hour rolling a patient bed down the hallway...
