Moms of one year old and older?

Can you share your feeding schedule please?
I think I need to give my daughter more but I need ideas.

Can you share exactly what do you feed them and if you can be specific in terms of what for breakfast, lunch and dinner. tIAChat Icon

Re: Moms of one year old and older?

Andrew's schedule, which we all know is never the same 2 days in a row, but this could be sort of an example. Lately, dinner is a trying experience.

Breakfast:
4 french toast sticks and an appleasuce he dunks them in
banana
6-8 oz. milk

or

5 mini pancakes and some cut up fruit

or oatmeal with a jar of Stage 2 fruits in it

Lunch:
grilled cheese
or
pastina and a stage 2 jar of veggies
or
jelly on wheat toast
or
Gerber meal

Glass of water

Dinner:
what we eat. lately he's not having any of it, so I will resort to giving him a Gerber micro-meal or something.
Glass of milk
He also loves tortellini and ravioli

I've found he eats dinner better if he has ketchup to dunk his food in.

He also has snacks at times, like Ritz sticks or cheerios.

Re: Moms of one year old and older?

Thanks for some great ideas! I posted the other day looking for some. I was thinking of trying the french toast sticks or mini pancakes (I kinda make my own by cutting a waffle in strips)

Today's menu

Breakfast:
Aprox 1 1/2 cups of Cantalope and Papaya.
Some Cheerios and a little Raisan Bran
Handful of Bear Naked Granola (Banana Nut, I eat the nuts Chat Icon )
About 1/4 of my everything bagel
8 oz Milk

Snack:
Juice (1-2 ozs Juicy Juice + 6 ozs Water + his liquid vitamins)
Gerber Banana Snack Crackers

Lunch:
(refused to eat the Mac N Cheese with Ham and Peas I made him Chat Icon )
Yo Baby Banana Yogurt
3 Quaker Mini Rice Cakes
A Pear
6 oz Milk

Snack:
Goldfish

Dinner:
(Is a challenge *some* nights, tonight was one I was eating the Mac n Cheese he didn't want so...)
1 Stage 3 Chicken Noodle Dinner
1 sm container of Applesauce
1 cup of Baked Apple Chips (Crispy Delights)
Some cucumber sticks
6 oz Milk

Aidan has become such a snacker lately so I try to keep healthy ones on hand. Like the apple chips, they also come in Veggie Chips (real veg baked) He loves them.
He shocked me the other day and shared my chopped blue cheese salad with me, yet he's totally turned his nose on chicken. Its just different every day. So I keep trying the things he turns away every so often.

Other Breakfast ideas:
Go Lean Wheat Waffles
Wheat toast with *very* light butter and cinnamon.
Any type of fruit at all. (the fresh will be not so great soon, I keep frozen pineapple chunks and canned stuff on hand too)

Other Lunch ideas:
Ham/turkey and cheese sandwich
Hummus and Ritz Crackers
Pasta with a drop of sauce
Yogurt with green beans hidden in it!
Grilled Cheese

Other Dinner ideas
well he will usually have what we have, but when he is being difficult I keep some stage 3 dinners or stage 2 veg on hand. Or those graduates meals.

Snacks
Fruit, rice cakes, pretzels sticks, graham crackers, Gerber Cereal Bar, Gerber Banana Crackers, Ritz sticks, Stonyfield Yogurt in a tube frozen like a popsicle

Re: Moms of one year old and older?

My son is two and a half.. Of course things change, but this is what he ate today:

Breakfast:
2 waffles
1 yogurt
glass of milk

Snack:
Grapes
Granola bar

Lunch:
PB&J
Milk

Snack:
Juice
goldfish
Pop-ice

Dinner:
I was supposed to be making meatloaf.. but since I got sick again tonight I sent the boys out to fend for themselves.. I am assuming a happy meal.. Not the most nutritious.. but there are definately days like that!

My son is also a "picker"...he would rather pick through the day then eat three meals... And then there are some days that he eats everything in sight!! GL.. HTH
