What is the best credit card to apply for if you have no credit?

My sister in law has 0 credit and no one will give her a credit card because of it she is 29 and has to build up her credit...what should she do?

She can also help build her credit by getting a debit card with a Mastercard or Visa logo and using that to purchase things.

Try a credit union- they have low interest rates.

This will not increase your credit unless you are talking about a CC with an acct that you put into and draw credit from. Capital One, Orchard bank, Target and First Premier all offer cards for lower scores. make sure she gets her credit report from freeannualcreditreport.com Make sure there are no tradelines on there for longer than 7 years(negative ones that is-leave positives on indefinitely)
