I need to train both of my dogs to stay off the couch...
especially now since I put it under the window and they are getting up there and scratching.
If you used something to help with this can you tell me what please???

I don't know if this will work with dogs but I use Glad Press-and-Seal on my couches to keep the cats off and it works (looks stupid but works).
When people come over, we just toss the press-n-seal and then re-apply when they leave.

a dog can be trained at any age.
I have heard people getting the carpet runners (the plastic runners with the points at the bottom) and putting it on the couch face down (so the plastic parts stick up) so when the dog jumps on the couch, they dont like how it feels (it wont hurt them, its like you walking on it barefoot)
