Why is the kitchen on the second floor

It has two kitchens I think,

This home serves as a fantastic investment opportunity as it offers two separate, large living areas, a private driveway with a detached garage and a beautiful, large yard.

But it is not legal, if you look on the first floor the room that is 8'11"x7'11" is probably another kitchen.

That's bizarre. They must not have been thinking about resale value when they did that!

I was thinking the same thing...and if you look at the last picture...the one of the back yard....you can see the exhaust fan on the first floor...which lends me to the fact that there is a kitchen there

illegal two family for sure, if they had all those bedrooms downstairs why would they have 3 kids stacked in a tiny bedroom upstairs? the lower level needs a lot of updating.

Re: Kitchen is on the second floor?

If the people who live their keep a kosher house, than that would explain the second kitchen. They would need to keep food separated, especially, for the holy days. If not, than it's, probably, just an illegal two family.

There are a lot of illegal two families in Seaford. I am amazed at how many kids in the school live with several generations under one, continually expanded, roof. Sometimes as many as four, with aunts, uncles and cousins as well.

Some of the houses are huge but when you consider how many people are living in them...

There are also many illegal apts. A few times I had the owner's kid and the tenant's kid of the same house in the same class.

My coworker lives in Seaford & her tiny cape has been converted to a 3-family. One of her daughters & family live upstairs, the other daughter in the basement.

Re: Kitchen is on the second floor?

The first floor is probably considered the basement.
