Moms who shop for baby clothes on ebay
How far in advance of a season or holiday do you start looking? I have some new halloween costumes, christmas dresses, snow pants, etc. to sell and am not sure when to start listing. Especially the halloween stuff, I've seen them out in stores, but it seems so early to me.
Thanks! Cathy

Re: Moms who shop for baby clothes on ebay
I just started looking for Halloween costumes and a winter coat for my daughter. I have one to sell that was hers last year as well and I see that there are alot of coats out there already with a decent number of bids on them, so people are looking already. If you want to wait, the costumes I'd list by early-mid Sept. and the coats/snow pants etc. by mid-late Sept. I look for holiday stuff after Halloween.

I think it's easy. Just take a digital pic and they have a whole template that you enter all the info into and upload the picture into. I've found that if you start out the auction low, sometimes the final bid is more than you thought you'd get. Sometimes if you start it out closer to what you hope to get in the end people think it's too much and don't bid. And I keep shipping as low as possible. I buy padded envelopes at Staples and ship in that, so it makes packing the stuff up easy.
