Where do I buy sod?
DH wants to put sod down in the yard. Where do we get it from?

A sod farm. I hate to make it sound like a DUH. We got ours from Delalio in Calverton.

okay I deserve that. I meant a name of a sod farm. Calverton is a bit far, anyone else. We live in Melville.

DeLalio is also in East Northport
you can get sod at Home Depot or any local nursery - not sure if you can get it now

Not sure sod would do well at this time of the year, usually May is the primo time to lay it down. It;s expensive so make sure you find out if it will thrive in this weather, if not it will be a wate of $. My husband just seeded last week and grass is coming up pretty good so far, and it's cheap!!
