Ok mommies-to-be, let's talk hot flashes!
I was NOT aware this would be part of being a preggo! It hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday in the mall. First, my face got flush, then the arms, then the legs, then the feet. So I opened my coat, then I took it off, then I actually took off my wrap sweater and was walking around in my tank top! I think I would have stripped to my undies if JT wasn't with me telling me to keep my clothes on! We drove home from Roosevelt Field with the windows rolled down and me in a tank top!

that has happened to me too, i've had to stop doing dishes and lay down, or actually leave stores b/c I thought I was going to pass out if I didn't get some cold air!

I ended up getting overheated at night.....I sleep in almost nothing (yes...even in winter) and DH and I use seperate comforters now. We even switched sides of the bed....I'm near the window now because he was too cold

Haha, that's too funny Shana because JT and I had to switch sides of the bed so I'd be closer to the window, too! I practically stipped down to nothing last night and I thought I was going to melt! I must have downed two bottles of cold water beforeI could go back to sleep...of course an hour later, all that water needed somewhere else to go, and low and behold, I was up...AGAIN!

Same with me. I am hot at night a lot. I am constantly asking DH is it very hot in here or it's just me, of course it's just me.

Yes!!! I get hot flashes out of the blue - in a split second - im beet red - flushed from my cheeks to my neck and will do just about anything to get some fresh air.
It seems to happen out of nowhere - my husband will turn around and see me beet red and say "ohh no, here we go again!"
I can't even imagine going through them in the heart of the summertime!

Re: Ok mommies-to-be, let's talk hot flashes!
DH was always the one sweating, but now it's me who's constantly turning down the heat. At night he's bundled up in the blanket and I'm hot without a blanket! My overheating has helped this year though since my school district decided to turn the heat off at 11am to save money!! I'm sure I'd be freezing if I wasn't pg.
