Prenatal Yoga
I am trying prenatal yoga with two friends of mine tonight. I can't wait! I did yoga two times before, but was a little turned off by the "chanting" and "meditating"...I liked how my body felt after, but I guess I have to get my mind set for it!

Re: Prenatal Yoga
The class was good. Again, I'm not big on the chanting, but that's the sacrifice I have to make to do the poses/stretching. Its a little expensive (jmo-when I pay $35 a month for the gym and get unlimited classes) and you have to pay in advance. It was $15 dollars a class and its wednesday nights for the rest of the summer, the day/night will probably change in sept. My friends and I bought 3 classes- so maybe I'll see you there.

Re: Prenatal Yoga
Is the place nice? I live right down the road from it. Do you have to be so many weeks along?

Re: Prenatal Yoga
Sounds good. It just stinks b/c I work every other Wednesday until 8pm, so I can probably only go 2x a month. Was the class big? Hopefully I'll be there next week.

There was a girl there that was 11 weeks. The instructor modified some of the moves for her because she was still in her 1st trimester. The class is from 6:30 to 7:45. Like I mentioned before, you have to pre-register and pay ahead you can't pay per class. They are also only scheduled on Wed until the last week of August. Hopefully I will see some of you there!

Re: Prenatal Yoga
Ugh 6:30 is such a bad time for me Ava is NUTS at that point of the day and DH is JUST getting home from work.
I am so upset - I did yoga with my last pregnancy and loved it. Oh well - looks like I'm buying a DVD
