Trying for the 2nd baby....
DH and I had the talk last night about trying for the second baby (he totally initiated -- which is usual for him) -----
It kind of scares me.
When she was born a year and a half sounded so far away.
6 months ago a year didn't sound like it would go fast...
And now that there is 6 months down from when we said we would start to try -- I'm kinda scared and freaked out.
Part of me wishes we'd start now. I'd LOVE to have another baby. I'm definately one of those moms who loves having that little lump of baby in her arms to just hold and stare at.
The other part of me is terrified because we still don't own a home --- probably won't for a few years --- and I'm afraid that it'll just be too much with us both working full time but still not having tons of extra money around (daycare will be INSANE!), being in a 2 br apartment, etc. And am I really ready to have an infant again? To do all of those sleepless nights???
And another part of me says whatever! She was a surprise and it all worked out amazingly. So I have to have faith that it'll work out again.
I'm really just torn on the issue and the 6 months is getting closer and I'm starting to just not know how I feel about it. It was all on my mind SOO much yesterday and even tonight as I was laying in bed trying to sleep.
Sorry -- I don't know if you guys can offer any words of wisdom for this -- I just kinda needed to vent I guess.
And if you could offer any words of wisdom -- I'd be GLAD to hear them.

Re: Trying for the 2nd baby....
I really don't have words of wisdom. But, you never know what can change in 6 months. We tried for the second when living in a 1 bedroom apartment. The way we saw it you can always make room. And the child won't miss out because they don't know any different. We live in a 2 bedroom now with the 3 kids. It's fine. The world won't come crashing down if you chose not to keep your schedule. Just make sure you are ready. You will enjoy the pregnancy more if you wait to your REALLY ready.
Tons of hugs!
