Looking good!
YAY! Last nights sono went well. I was stressing about it, due to all the miscarriages I've been hearing about and since I haven't really been having pregnancy symptoms lately. But all's good!
We got a video of the sono, and you wouldn't believe how much the baby's moving around! Its only 3 inches, but has arms, legs, hands, etc! We could even see the fingers. Totally crazy, but measuring right on schedule!
The neck measurement test they do for a downs indicator came back so low, so we didn't bother with the AFP (above 3 is a concern, my ob office likes below 2.5, it was 1.1).
oh, and I gained 2 pounds

It's so much fun to see the little bean bouncing around in that first sonogram!!
And that is awesome that you got a video! I watned to do that but always forgot to bring at ape with me!

Just and FYI the AFP tests for Spina Bifida in addition to downs. I am not trying to worry you at all but I just wanted to make sure you knew that.
We did the ultra screen which was perfect and then at 16 weeks they did an AFP only (not the quad screen) to just test for spina bifida. You aren't supposed to retest for downs after the ultra screen.
