First Sonogram
We are scheduled for our first sonogram on Monday (Yippee!!!) and I will be 6 1/2 weeks.....
Do you think we will be able to hear the heartbeat this early?

I was 6w4d at my first appointment, and I saw the heartbeat flickering away during an internal sono..
So you def. have a good chance !

Your doc, like mine, may not have the ability to hear the heartbeat but you will be able to see it.

I think I am the only one that had to wait......I went on August 4th and they said they had to send a reason for the u/s to the insurance company so they would cover it. I am going back on the 28th for my ultrasound. I will be about 10 weeks then
