My Latina friends..food question


We had dinner at a friend's house last night and he made a "spanish rice & chicken dish" ...lol that was what he called it. It was (I hate this word, but) clumpy rice, shredded chicken breast and mixed vegetables with small slices of sweet sausage...chorizo, I think...what is the name of it? I want to make it!!

Paella...it can also be served with shrimp and clams

very good, a bit time consuming, a ton of ingredients.

Agree! I usually make tex-mex rice. But, it sounds like you are talking about Paella.

Paella would have seafood in it. I would say it's arroz con pollo.

Paella.....mmm OR it could be arroz con pollo. Usually paella has chorizo but also lobster....we put beer in it, too
