in the pick they look lighter than they really are

it is more of a taupe color

I like them, but again when it comes to the wooden heel, I prefer a slimmer heel, not a platform.

but they do look adorable on

just not sure if it worth it if they will be out next year

Nay only because personally I don't like the ankle straps, they bother me. But, the shoe itself is very cute..if you like them, then go for it.

I am not loving the cut out for the toe. Maybe if it were rounder to match the toe, or even pointed?

I like them... do they give you the option of viewing the shoe from the back? i hear you on the thick wooden wedge, but looks like it may be slim in the back?
