IPOD Question...
So, if I delete the songs from itunes after i put them on my ipod does that mean when I connect my ipod it will delete from there?
I bought the 60gig Ipod that hold like 20,000 songs and obviously cant keep them all on the computer so I want to back them up on disk and delete from Itunes.. TIA!!

Re: IPOD Question...
Yes, everytime you update your iPod you need to choose your playlist(s) or however you have it set up, so if you've deleted songs they will no longer update to your iPod.

Re: IPOD Question...
We bought an external hard drive to keep our songs & digital photos on it. They're not really that expensive.

Re: IPOD Question...
Actually.. I called the apple store and they walked me through it,, you can delete all the songs off your computer and still keep them on your ipod.. I had to change it in the preferences to add and delete songs " manually" instead of " automatically" Now I can delete all the songs off my hard drive and keep them on my ipod..

Re: IPOD Question...
That's great to know! we are going to buy an external hard drive for this reason. I spent all that time putting it into itunes. I certainly don't want to start all over with that!
